The situational problem requires students to come up with a new design for a skateboard. They will choose different components to build the skateboard (length and width of deck, truck width and wheel type) and create a design for the skateboard. Students must also calculate the cost of producing the skateboard and suggest a selling price. These tasks are intended to assess students at the end of elementary cycle 3 year 1.
